Money dispute leads to murder, Newport News police say
NEWPORT NEWS — Police say a dispute over money led to murder early Tuesday at a trailer park in Newport News. A woman in one trailer called police around 2′00 a.m. saying men were banging on the side of her trailer on Christian Street. That was soon followed by a call from a man in another trailer reporting the shooting. Police arrived Sherman Bailey, 39, with a gunshot to his leg. He died at …
